General Terms and Conditions
for events held by the contractor:

1. General
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions („GTC“) apply to the participation in the designated event hosted by the above mentioned contractor. Deviating terms and conditions of the participation are not valid.

1.2 The contractor reserves the right to make changes and additions to these regulations.

1.3 Possible changes and additions become valid when they are published on the website .

2. Registrations

2.1 Registration for participation in the event is only possible via the website under the corresponding event link.

2.2 By registering for an event, the general terms and conditions are deemed to have been accepted.

2.3 Registrations will be considered in the order of their arrival.

2.4 Oral changes and additions are only effective if they have been confirmed in writing by the contractor.

2.5 Registrations, rebookings or cancellations will only be accepted in writing (post or e-mail).

2.6 Every registration is binding. The registration becomes binding for both parties when a written confirmation is sent by the contractor.

3. Event costs

3.1 All event costs mentioned are exclusive of sales tax and accomodation expenses.

3.2 Payment before the start of the event is a prerequisite for participation in the event.

4. Payments

4.1 The invoices are payable upon invoicing without deduction.

4.2 The participation is not entitled to withhold payments or offset them against their own claims.

5. Cancellation conditions

5.1 Cancellations or rebookings by the participant from 6 weeks before the start of the event will be charged by the contractor with 50% of the total fees, from 2 weeks before the start of the event the full fee is 100% due.

5.2 If a suitable participant is reported, the cancellation fee does not apply.

5.3 Cancellations or rebookings must be made in writing without exceptions.

5.4 In case of cooperation events, the cancellation conditions of the respective cooperation partner apply.

6. Event cancellation/ Event changes

6.1 Cancellations by the contractor will be communicated to the participants no later than 2 weeks before the start of the event. Excluded are absences due to illness, which the contractor cannot influence.

6.2 The contractor cannot be held liable if an event does not take place.

6.3 Changes in the program of event: The contractor assumes no liablility for printing and spelling errors in publications and on the website. The contractor also reserves the right to make organizational changes to the program and to cancel events. The realization of events depends on the minimum number of participants.

7. Photo and film recordings

7.1 During the event, the contractor creates photos and film for public relations.

7.2 By registering for the event, the participants agree that the contractor is entitled to take photos and film recordings of themselves, to reproduce them, to send them or have them sent, and to use them in audiovisual media.

7.3 The participants also agree that the recordings may be used on the contractor’s website, in press releases, in printed matter and social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Xing) and passed on to third parties for reporting purposes. There is no commercial use of the recordings. If you do not agree, please inform the contractor in advance by email (

8. Liability

8.1 Participants and business partners agree that the data of their organization, which is collected during the event, will be included in the contractor’s company database. Please note that the email addresses of our participants and business partners are used to draw attention to news, event dates, offers, information, etc. from the contractor. If this is not desired, this can be prevented at any time by sending a written message to .

8.2 Participation in events by the contractor is at participants own risk and responsibility. No liabiliy can be assumed for personal (valuable) items of the participants.

8.3 The contractor is only liable for damage in the event of gross negligence and intent. In any case, liability for consequential damage and financial loss, in particular due to delay, impossibility of performance, loss of profit, expected but not realized savings – as far as legally permissible – is excluded.

9. Copyright and other rights

9.1 All services provided by the contractor are proteced by copyright. It is not permitted to copy, reproduce, pass on to third parties or publish in any other media without written permission.

10. Final provisions

10.1 In the event of disputes between the parts oft he contractor arising from the business case at hand, the competent court in Berlin- Charlottenburg shall have exclusive jurisdication. German law applies exclusively. The UN sales law does not apply. Should individual conditions be void or legally ineffective, this does not affect the legal effectiveness oft he remaining conditions.
