CODE OF ETHICS

01. Integrity
Corruption will be tolerated by no means, and any attempt will immediately be reported.

02. Competition
The Internationaler Wirtschaftssenat e.V. strictly observes the applicable law with regard to its members as well as vis-à-vis potential competitors, and furthermore sets special value on fair play in every respect. Violations of the Competition Law, e.g. illegal price arrangement, will be tolerated by no means. In every action taken, the Internationaler Wirtschaftssenat e.V. and all of its members will refrain from any activity likely to even lead to the slightest suspicion of such violations.

03. Cooperation
The Internationaler Wirtschaftssenat e.V. cultivates a cooperative relationship vis-à-vis public partners (media, syndicates, politics etc.).

04. Sustainability
Within the scope of its abilities, the Internationaler Wirtschaftssenat e.V. contributes to the active protection of the environment and cultivates a responsible usage of natural resources.

05. Documentation
All business processes as well as all relevant accounting information will be documented in an adequate manner and additionally supervised by an internal controlling system.

06. Protection of Knowledge
Company secrets will be clearly defined and will not be passed on to third parties. Company secrets will not be made available to the public (media). Third party rights deserving protection will unrestrictedly be respected by the Internationaler Wirtschaftssenat e.V..

07. Handling of Information
The Internationaler Wirtschaftssenat e.V. will make all relevant information available in due time, in a complete and well comprehensible way, free of emotions and in all conscience.

08. Working Conditions
The Internationaler Wirtschaftssenat e.V. will not tolerate any discrimiation or molestation whatsoever. All violations will be sanctioned without exception. The Internationaler Wirtschaftssenat e.V. will campaign for the safety and welfare of its empoyees. The Internationaler Wirtschaftssenat e.V. cultivates a respectful cooperation with its members and employees. All cooperation will be defined by objectivity, fairness and colleagueship.

09. Separation of Interests
Upon any decision taken on behalf of the IWS, all employees of the Internationaler Wirtschaftssenat e.V. will clearly separate their private interests from those of the IWS. This is also incumbent for all business relations and personnel decisions.
